Gansons Ltd., a 63 years old manufacturing company, has paved its way into the lives of millions of people all over the world. Right from the start, it emphasised on quality to match international standards, a practice that has been scrupulously followed since.
Though the company started with an aim of manufacturing laboratory equipments and gas plants, today it stands as one of the largest manufacturer of tailor-made equipment and standard machinery for Pharmaceutical, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Chemicals, Explosives, Food, Pesticides, Cosmetics and allied industries. The team here, having an innovative and creative bent of mind and competitive spirit, coupled with continuous learning process, is always keen to take up challenges in the field of designing new products.
A large Pressure Vessel (EBR Accumulator),weighing 120 Tons,made from 58 mm thk
Shell and 72 mm thk dished ends,3700 mm dia x16000 mm height was despatched from Nagpur unit of Gansons Ltd on 18th November,2008 for Haldia Petrochemicals,West Bengal.Boiler quality plates of spec SA 516-Gr 70N were procured with N+N1+S simulation heat treatment,impact tested in addition to all mandatory tests.The Vessel is tested at 53.04 kg/ sq cm(g) hydraulic pressure.TEILwas PMC & DEC while BV was the inspection agency and SGS was the coordinator.The equipment was loaded in a 96 wheel axle trailor by inhouse hydraulic lifting arrangements.
The Philosophy that became Gansons.
Gansons was established in August 19, 1947. 4 days after INDIA became an Independent Nation, by the founder, Late Sri G.N Banerjee at Lalbaug, Mumbai
The aim was to manufacture gas plants and laboratory equipments for pharmaceutical labs.
Since then the company has grown with leaps and bounds and excelled in manufacturing both Standard and Tailor-made machinery /equipment for pharmaceutical, food, pesticides, cosmetics and allied industries. Inspite of severe competition from international companies due to liberal import policy,the company succeeded in creating a 'mark' for itself.In due course of time, the increase in demand for gansons' products paved way to increased production thereby leading to setting up of successive factories at Vakola, Andheri, Nagpur and Nasik.
